"My work is mostly of, or connected to the vulnerable object and machine that is my body. Nevertheless, I strive to illustrate the interpenetration of the physical and mental, and to resolve the dualism of perception and representation. Electricity flows through me as a result of my battling roles as artist and muse. This is the disjunction and the struggle that propels me into a dream within a dream within a dream, and transports my artist-self into an erotic, irrational, and ever morphing world of muses. I offer a decadent and gluttonous feast to the aesthetic consumer. Chaotic detail and fetishistic imagery is often at odds with rigid order, symmetry, repetition, and geometry. There is an instant appeal to sanguine flesh and bright colors, to the spectacle of deformity and violence, to the absurdity of fashion, and circus theatrics. My wish is not to merely ground the spectator in truth, but to intensify thought. My goal is to set things into transition and allow things to flow."
